Nintendo Wii look better on HD 720p TV?
If I buy a 19in 720p HDTV and component cables (the official Nintendo component cables for Wii), will it look better than a SDTV and standard cables?
That may sound like a silly question but I have herd that Wii’s don’t look very good on HDTV’s.
Can someone tell me from personal experience with Wii’s and HDTV’s?

Yes, however, the TV is not going to help as much as the cables upgrade. (Assumes your TV can handle component connection) The cables that come with the Wii are composite only coaxial is lower quality. After Composite you have S-Video then Component cables (in quality).

The second is a little more detailed but does show difference between connection types.
Finally, the Wii does not offer HDTV quality that you have in Sony or Xbox but upgrading the cables to Component will have a difference. I did see significant difference when I upgraded. PS Target has them available for about $19.
