Like mentioned, any instance of paying for software to modify your console is a scam and also illegal. This method requires no extra hardware or software like Zelda etc. and is very safe. The main thing you want to install is the homebrew channel, while BootMii is completely optional and not recommended for people new to Homebrew as it is still in beta. Installing bootmii does not pose a major risk but may confuse or complicate things. However, if you do have it installed (before boot as boot2) your wii becomes virtually unbreakable in terms of software failure. Hope i helped!
