can you do this with wii virtual console games?
can one transfer virtual console games from one wii to another using the SD card function? I might need to do that soon with the new one I wanna get. My old wii won’t last any longer.
how come when I go to data management and pick channels, I have the option to move or copy to an SD card, I have the latest update.
Nope, you cannot upload and play downloaded Virtual console games, wiiware, and channels from one wii to another wii via SD card unless that software has been previously downloaded on that wii. Nintendo wants us to buy wii points! The SD card menu was intended for game saves, photos, etc, but you can also back up your downloaded software and reload it to the wii as long as your shop channel history doesn’t get deleted.
